Professional Home Inspections

Buying a home is one of the most important purchases you will ever make. The home buying process is filled with many decisions. When you buy a home you should be able to expect a safe, sound, and secure home for you and your family to enjoy.

We at D&M Home Inspection assure our clients that you can trust your ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) gold level home inspector to bring personalized, exceptional service and expert knowledge, encouraging smart decisions and peace of mind to your home buying experience!

Why Choose D&M Home Inspections?

Experience ...Training... Peace of Mind

Experience! The owner has over thirty years experience in the building trades, and has completed more than 4000 home inspections.

Training: Our inspectors are cross trained in construction, mold remediation, indoor air quality testing, wood boring insects, and lead paint. On average our inspectors complete four times the state required minimum for yearly continuing education

credits.

Seminars:We offer seminars for first time home buyers and for sellers on how to prepare for a home inspection.

Peace of Mind: In the home buying transaction you need the most experienced inspector you can find. You also need the best report you can get. Each home inspection report we prepare is a custom report, built from scratch, just for you. We only do one home inspection per inspector per day.

Purpose: The purpose of a Home Inspection for Residential Buildings, including their attached garages, is to provide the Client with an inspection Report that forthrightly discloses the physical conditions of the systems and components listed in 266 CMR 6.04 which are Readily Accessible and Observable, including those systems and components, which are Safety Hazards as Observed at the time of the inspection.

Narrative Inspection Report: This type of report is a room by room description of your home. We use an ELITE residential program with photo's that are embedded in the report. The inspector will take notes and photo's at the inspection site. Then all material is brought back to the office where a custom report is compiled. This report is then e-mailed to the client usually within 48 hours. An average report with attachments is about 60 pages. On average 200 photographs are taken at the inspection site. The report is broken down into easy to read sections with highlights on the most important issues.

Time: Your time is valuable. Instead of generating the report at the inspection site, which could take 5-6 hours, we concentrate on inspecting the home and save the report writing for later.

Cost: A home inspection should be informative without breaking the bank. We offer some of the lowest cost services in the area.
